This was purchased directly from Mississippi wood craft artist Barry Grishman in 1988 at the State Street Art Fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was used by my dad for a few months, and is in marvelous condition, as shown in pics. Judging by the residue in the cracks of the lid's groove, he had employed the artist's recommended method for tightening the fit...as shown in the Listing's last photo (this is for a different listing, as this one is being sold without any paperwork) and is signed (engraved) "BG '88" on inside of lid. Sold as pictured.
