This is a 9 in oval serving bowl, from the 1940s with 5 bread plates, pretty fantastic that it has lasted this long in this condition. It is hand-painted as this pattern is known and has scrolls and flowers in stunning gilt Art Deco design. The handles are on either side and this is a beautiful example of an oval serving dish. It has the green Noritake with M and surrounding wreath hand painted and made in Japan hallmark on the back.
