This is an E. Reinhold Schmidt copy of a Nicolaus Amati Violin. There is a crack on the front that looks appreciate a repair was attempted at some point along with dings and nicks on the finish but it plays remarkably well with a very open and brighter sound.NOTE: the fingerboard is loose. It appears to be in place at top but can be moved side to side easily if you are not aware. Also, whoever owned this previously did not fit the bridge.This does not come with a case or bow.

This is an E. Reinhold Schmidt copy of a Nicolaus Amati Violin. There is a crack on the front that looks favor a repair was attempted at some point along with dings and nicks on the finish but it plays extremely well with a very open and brighter sound.

NOTE: the fingerboard is loose. It appears to be in place at top but can be moved side to side easily if you are not aware. Also, whoever owned this previously did not fit the bridge.

This does not come with a case or bow.
