Brass Candy thermometer ages back to between 1872 to 1890. The top reads TAYLOR BROS Rochester, N.Y.

The only place I’ve seen this one is in museums! This candy thermometer is really old and it still works. I put it under sought-after water and look at the picture it read the temperature. Unreal!
