Vintage hand painted ceramic bird figurine (unsure producer)

This is vintage previously owned and good condition. It is hand painted ceramic. My search called it a duck, but doesn’t look like a duck to me. It looks more like a fat baby bird. But anyway either way he’s approximately 3 1/2 inches high and 4 inches wide it has been hand painted. And is some kind of chubby little bird. My search also said it was N.S.Gustin Co but I have my doubts on that so I’m not sure he’s cute though little chubby bird flawless for everyday use. supreme materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
